Our University Trip

We visited the department of foreign languages of Aydın University yesterday, it was a unique experience for all of us. As we get closer to the final  year of high school, we all want to explore the university's, how are their education, what are their mission and what can they offer us. That way we can decide where to go and study for 4 years. In our visit, we firstly saw the campus. It was okay, there were cafes, fast food restaurants and places to sit with our friends. Then we went to the seminar hall for a introduction about the foreign languages classes. It has many options like English, Russian, Arabic translations etc, also they have foreign languages and literature classes too but it's in another department so I couldn't get too much detail about them. Then we went to the lecture hall, it was big and good designed for the students. Personally I like the visit but I'm not amazed. I have some expectations about university like big and natural campus with so much ...

About our TYT test

TYT is a kind of exam required to enter a university for some branches in high school, and we had a TYT test to measure our knowledge about certain classes this friday... And me being me, I had no sleep before entering the exam, didn't have breakfast that day and I was pretty exhausted coming back from the university trip we had. I was never good at science classes (physics, chemistry, biology) and the second I saw the first question I flipped through the science section. On turkish I was super bored and did a few questions but math was quite enjoyable to solve even though i did a few questions. Social studies were just meh, I don't remember much of it And yeah that's about it about my experiences in the test, I didn't do that good sadly but I'll try harder the next time. Anyways this was my post, it felt more like complaining but what am I to do. Have a good day!

Atatürk Memorial Day

There are heroes in the history of every country. Ours is Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.  Today, November 10th, we are  in a day where we are saddened by his passing from us. Atatürk is one of the rare leaders in the world who worked for his country throughout his life. He brought our country to the level of modern civilization with the revolutions he brought to us as long as he lived.  Atatürk, besides being a hardworking and disciplined statesman, was a loving, compassionate and helpful person. With his intelligence and foresight, he protected our country from all possible harm. Throughout his life, he has not been discouraged by any difficulties and has always lived with the instinct of success.  Maybe we can not thank him for this, but we can follow his footsteps and strive to keep the Republic of Turkey alive as he would want us to. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk has always aimed the best in all fields and worked hard to achieve his goals  since the establishment of the rep...

Thanks to this project ,we can both improve our speaking skills and see different perspectives by  getting to know each other.                           LAUGTHER of EMPTINESS I put my hand into the void But no one holding it All  the voices Were only in my head They just watched me from inside The camera As I sink into the lap of silent darkness With my Loneliness The man who recorded me Asked me about my dreams I didn’t know what to say I strated crying How much could I cry On this old chair When my whole family was laughing inside My sobs drowned In a sea of  laughter Accepted death I’m the one who didn’t do anything for her(my)self I am not even dead to her(my)self Though She had no fear Of breathing In the jungle of the orpahns Will this life , Which I felt was not mine when  lived, Be mine when my name is placed on my headstone?
